Modern & Modest Metropolitan Bridal Inspiration

I’m happy to see these days how many stunning, glamorous & modern options there are for a bride looking to dress a bit more modest. J. Noelle Designs in Utah has been dazzling us for years with her custom long sleeve wedding gowns & stunning separates – and this metropolitan bridal shoot features another enviable gown.

We recognized the stylish models instantly as Kelsey & Juan – the fashion blogger & handsome beau whose intimate yacht wedding we’ve been drooling over for months. Kelsey wore a J. Noelle Designs custom gown for her own wedding dress, and clearly caught the designers’ eye when tapped for this stunning styled shoot. What a well deserved compliment from her wedding dress designer!

We must note, too, the florals – most of the wedding inspiration remains a clean white canvas for these understated Fall blooms. We’re delighted to see here our current favorite color combo: mauve & orange, a stunning autumnal bouquet.

On a cloudy afternoon, Felicity and Johnathan celebrated a quiet elopement amidst the modern granite architecture of Salt Lake City. Felicity donned her custom designed sheer sequin gown and John his mod hounds-tooth jacket, black slacks, and bow tie. Their sleek and glamorous appearance fit perfectly with the stone surroundings. To contrast all the cold, modern elements of their elopement, the photographer focused on pulling warm tones from the stormy skies, as well as Felicity’s ravishing bouquet.
