There are a few times of day you can truly capture the quintessential Paris moment – when the streets empty on a rainy day, and in the quiet early morning light.
Fine art photographers Michelle Wever and Wike Zijlstra knew waking early on a sunny Parisian day would prove elopement inspiration magic. With golden light flowing through the Eiffel Tower and over the bridges crossing the Seine, Michelle’s film photos has us dreaming of a runaway, Parisian wedding.
But it’s not just the iconic backgrounds that the talented team has just right, our bride and groom’s style is quintessential Parisian chic as well. Groom Martin dressed in what we call ‘Creative Black Tie’ (find details in our Dress Code 101) his black velvet Roka suit is fitting of a fashion-conscience French man. Similarly, bride Stephanie has the understated Parisian look down with a loose, wavy lob and chic off-the-shoulder Riki Dalal gown.
So, Happy Bastille Day to all of our French couples!
