Oh, how I love gift giving. Surprising loved ones with thoughtful presents to show your love – is there a better feeling? When your friends & family are attending one of the biggest days in your life, we’d say that’s worth a “thank you” no matter how big or small.
Wedding favor shopping, however, can be tricky. They can be expensive, complicated & time-consuming to put together and then there’s the “will our guests actually want to bring these home?” factor. To be frank, having photographed over 100 weddings in the last decade, I rarely take-home favors due to size or my own preoccupation partying late into the night.
Then there’s the destination wedding factor – you’ll want to think of gifts that don’t take up too much space in guests’ suitcases – think local items like olive oils & jams in mini sizes that fit in toiletry bags.
